they may come to beat and burn you
treat you bad and try to hurt you
and so be doomed to the infernal
dont they know their soul’s eternal?
they make come to do you harm
steal your peace and cause alarm
greet them all with open arms
let them dance to wear its warm
their cold hearts go to where its hot
boiling in the devils pot
their jealous of what you got
its just God’s love that means a lot
let them curse and threaten pain
let them dance in their disdain
one day they’ll learn that we are not playing
ours is a faith that will not wane
they may come to beat and burn you

but they are doomed to the infernal
dont you know your souls eternal?
tho i walk through the valley of the shadow of death
i exist beyond my breath
eventually all that will be left
is love for the Lord that never ends
jealously they persecute truth
they try their hardest just to put me through
times of darkness to rob my virtue
but i know my soul’s eternal
i know they will not succeed
i love God and He loves me
