Nope

I look around always
Every day
searching
everyone
any place
for elements
that might remind me
in any slight way
of your face
or body
or things

So everywhere I go
I may catch a glimpse
of recognition

I saw your hips at a red light
by a car crash
waiting for a cop

I saw your style
in that gorgeous mom
pushing that stroller
wearing impeccable work attire
on a garden stroll
for juice

I see your youth
in the lovely girls
on the university promenade
I see your lips
counting tips
at the bar
at three am

I see your stance
in the relaxed challenging lean
of all the women
who know they are women

I see your eyes in the produce section
your legs in the pantry isle
your car in the parking lot

I reminisce in your memory, all over
I catch a flash,
where I see your skin

I see your fingertips
I see you sandled toes
I see your hair, in a bun
or your bangs on your forehead

I see your ankles,
your thighs,
your belly,
your breasts

I see everything about you
everywhere I go
but I never see
you
